Sentry 4012HV is an industrial standard battery monitoring system for medium size UPS with 30 to 40 blocks of 12V or 16V battery. This compact battery unit combines superior data quality and flexible installation to address server room, data center and other industry applications.

Sentry-4012HV UPS Model



  1. Each Sentry-4012HV monitors 1 string of 40x12V.
    If a UPS has multiple strings, order one unit for each string.
    By default, Sentry-4012HV works for 30 to 40 batteries. For battery string with less than 30 batteries, Sentry unit has to be customized and cannot be changed back by customer.
    32x16V version available for special order.
    Each unit comes with 2 temperature sensors for ambient and pilot temperature.
  2. Unit comes with onboard Ethernet DTU. If wireless DTU is preferred, an activated SIM card (GSM) is needed.
  3. Order O-ring leads, specify 6mm (1/4"), 8mm(5/16") or 10mm(3/8"). 
  4. Order current sensor if needed. Default window size: 15mmx20mm, close loop 300A (peak current 600A). Other size/range and split-core sensor may have longer lead time.
  5. A HMI touch display is recommended for field service. 
  6. Optional 12-conductor 20AWG cable, calculate the length: Sentry unit mounting distance to farest battery x 4.


Battery Analyzer Software license comes with hardware order.
